With a new “leading lady” in the White House, I couldn’t help but bring up a couple of my favorite leading ladies–Deborah and Jael. One a judge and the other a housewife–both heros in their own right. How many opportunities a day do you get to be a “leading lady”– or maybe you are the husband of such a lady! And, if you have had enough of the “white stuff” or the winter browns, try some green on to get you feeling as perky as a summer squirrel chompin’ on a fresh nut. I suggest you try my recipe for a very Yummy Broccoli Salad. It’s full of antioxidants, phytonutrients, beta carotene, fiber, tannins to fight macular degeneration and osteoporosis–and if you use a fat-free or Olive oil based mayo–no guilt here! Aside from all of that, it’s just Simply Delicious!
